New Gallery Feedback?
August 30th, 2007 by Stephen
I just added a new type of gallery to the site, which can be viewed here. I am pretty confident that it will be a welcomed change as it really cleans up the look of the post, while keeping the same basic functionality of clicking on thumbnails and having a large version appear.
Please let me know what you think.

Much, much better. It was really annoying before. It loads faster now.

Now it’s much much better as Alexandru said. Can we see bigger sizes too?

I may think about adding large sizes, there really aren’t any limits besides the sizes the images come to me in. Would everyone want 1.5x or 2x the current size?
Thanks for the feedback

1.5 would be awesome

You are unable to use the large image features in RSS feedreader apps. Not a big fan. Sorry.

It now takes two clicks per image to cycle through all the images. It would be nice if there were “next” and “prev” buttons.
Also, when I click a new one, it should shrink down the current one.
Overall, it’s a nice smooth effect.

One cool feature that I forgot to mention is the ability to use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to scroll through the images. This loads the next image and minimizes the image you just looked at.

The gallery works way much better now, than before.
Yes, x1.5 would be awesome, but x2 would be better
… just joking, 1.5 is enough I think.
