Jaiku’s New Office Space

Jaiku, the Finnish micro-blogging service, is a company we have written about before. Last time we posted, one of the company’s co-founders, Jyri, let me know that they would be moving into a new office soon. Luckily for us, he already took some pictures of it and made them available for viewing.

The new space is still in Helsinki, looks great, and offers much more room. The lounge area looks very comfortable; a place to relax after hours of sitting at a computer is always a bonus to any office. The move is really a great step up from their old office, and perhaps in a couple years we will see another expansion happen at the fast-growing Jaiku.

Office Snapshots Business Cards

Ever since I began Office Snapshots several months ago, one of my goals was to personally visit some of the companies we feature. In order to increase the professional nature of the site when I visit office to take pictures, I thought it might be a good idea to order up some business cards. Vista Print had a template that matched the simple theme of the site fairly well, so I decided to go through them.

Red Hat Offices - Sao Paulo

Red Hat Logo Red Hat describes itself as “the open source leader”. The company specializes in offering Linux to corporate entities as an alternative to more expensive ‘closed source’ alternatives. They could easily be called the most recognizable brand of Linux available, but I didn’t poll the entire Earth, so I will hold off on making that distinction.

This particular office is located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which is a popular destination for companies seeking a presence in both that country and the continent. One of my favorite aspects of this office is the implementation of the brand’s color within the scheme. Often times, there can be too much of one color, but I think they have pulled it off nicely.

Tocquigny HQ - Proof they are real

So, a couple days ago we posted some images of the awesome office space of Tocquigny. Well, in the comments a little bit a debate came up of whether they were real or not. Apparently, someone thinks that they were created in either Photoshop or some sort of 3d modeling program, so I decided to request a few more photos from some people that work there.
