Here is a quick video tour from the Spreadshirt headquarters in Leipzig, Germany. Spreadshirt is a company that allows you to design your own t-shirts online, which can then be purchased by anyone. It is a really cool idea that lets the normal person who doesn’t own a screen-printing machine to make their great ideas into t-shirts.
This particular office has something that we haven’t seen too much of here at Office Snapshots; a fussball table. Actually, you can never see too many fussball tables, so that is technically a logical fallacy. Anywho, these offices are in a really great space and probably look amazing now that they are all completed.
Flickr is the online equivalent of that big box of pictures you have in your garage, only this box is digital and isn’t collecting dust. Most people know what Flickr is, but in case you don’t it is a photo-sharing website that offers image hosting at the low cost of free. They also have a pro account that unlocks several limits from the free account. They really have it right, and I don’t know of any other photo-sharing services that have the same caliber site or the same quality userbase.
I find a lot of the images for Office Snapshots using Flickr, though I make sure they are Creative Commons licensed to avoid any problems. Go check them out, they have some really amazing creativity and skill on display over there.
No, these aren’t stills from Minority Report 2. They’re Snapshots from the office of Tocquigny, an advertising and measurement agency based in Austin. Tocquigny (toe-kee-nyee, if you feel like saying it out loud) actually started out as a design studio, and moved into running interactive ad campaigns and then reporting the results. Today, they work with some pretty big companies, including IBM, AMD, and Seagate.
This place is beautiful. I especially like those window-side Think Boxes. I’m positive there are Think Boxes in heaven.
As I mentioned before, Ebay is the world’s largest garage sale/swap-meet/discount shopping thing around. As such, they have offices all over the world. Last week we showed you the Stockholm office, so this week we figured why not post their office space in Vienna, Austria.
Overall, I really like this space. It seems very inviting and friendly, definitely a place that would have a light atmosphere. I’d almost say that because of the colors and decoration, it really has a Googly feel.
Let’s get this week started off right…yeah that’s right, Facebook’s offices. Though I have a little bad news mixed with the good, that being that they have 3 offices in Palo Alto, CA, but I have no clue which images are taken from which office. So go ahead and enjoy the snapshots below, and just know that it took a lot of searching to find enough cc licensed images to constitute even writing a post.
