Nix-wie-weg HQ

Unless you’re from Germany, you probably haven’t heard of Nix-wie-weg. The site is basically the German equivalent of Expedia, that allows users to search and book all sorts of travel accommodations. Even though you probably already went to an online translator, the name means something like “up and away” in English.

The company was founded in 1996 and is located in Weiden, Germany. The office was decorated in accordance with the websites color scheme, which makes for a very tasteful and neat workspace for the company’s 17 employees.

Threadless Office Art

If you don’t like Threadless t-shirts, you have no soul. Threadless (and its parent company skinnyCorp.) has been keeping Internet hipsters clothed since 2000, and just recently opened a “real” store in Chicago. In case you don’t know, Threadless looks to its community to provide designs for, choose, and then purchase its clothing. If you’re short on cash, it’s fun just to look through the designs and vote for what you like.

And their office is right up there with the all-time best of Office Snapshots. It’s so wonderful, we’re only bringing you the office art today, and the office itself will have to wait until Monday. That may not be enough time to ingest all those cool, colorful murals.

Netflix HQ

Today, we have the pleasure of bringing you some neat shots from Netflix. Netflix is well known and well loved, and has grown pretty impressively since it was established in 1998. Netflix now owns over 55 million discs, and ships 1.6 million of them each and every day. Fun fact: if you were to stack every single movie Netflix ships in a pile, that pile would be taller than Mt. Everest within a week.

The photos from their headquarters in Los Gatos, CA are no less fun than the aforementioned fact. The building looks like a European villa from any given Bond film, and all the meeting rooms have movie-related themes ( Ed. note- does that mean that anything that happens in The Matrix room isn’t real?). Fittingly, there is a movie theater inside, where I can only assume they watch every single movie before they ship it out.

Last.fm HQ

Looking for a non-human replacement for those friends that are always letting you know about new music that is right up your alley? Well, your search is over, it is Last.fm! This service pays attention to what you listen to, in order to recommend other music that is similar, while allowing you to do the most fun activity of music, listening to it. There are plenty of other features as well, but I’ll let you go check those out.

These offices are located in London, UK, and are obviously still under construction in these photos. They are most likely done right now, but I must say that I love the wooden floor. Even without the furniture, the look of the office really looks like what I would expect from Last.fm!

Yahoo! Brazil Office

Yahoo is an internet giant that rumbles with the likes of Google and Microsoft for supremacy of the web, but when it comes to a terrestrial giant war, ‘Jolly Green’ and ‘Andre the’ win the battle easily. I have been hunting pictures of Yahoo offices for a while now, and I finally came across these. Other Yahoo offices are on the way too.

This particular Yahoo office is located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and looks to be very comfortable. One of the more interesting things to be gleaned from these images is the utter lack of cubicles, which I find to be appealing.
