Pagekick HQ
January 25th, 2008 by Stephen
For those of you that haven’t heard of Pagekick, it is a German web portal that serves up user-generated content. Users submit and vote on links, articles, blogs, etc. The best stuff is displayed and organized on the front page. The site is currently ‘alpha’, so it only has basic features online.
The office itself is located in Berlin, and really exemplifies what I think of when I think ’startup’. It only has the basic elements that are necessary at the early stages of building a web company: computers, desks, and black cats.

The office also look very ‘alpha’. Would be nice to see some more pictures in about a year.

Yeah I agree Savi. I was thinking the same thing, as it was actually in my first draft of the post. Looks like Sebastian @ pagekick will make it happen too. Thanks Sebastian!

A little more background:
We are NOT VC backed. We have a 2-year-financing from our other business-activities. That’s why we try to buy only things, that are essential for our work.
But we both (me and my co-founder Gabriel) are very interest in “office culture” in general. That’s why we love this site!
We plan to buy new things for the office everytime we reach one of our milestones. So our work ambience grows with our success. I think that is pretty cool!
With sunny greetings from Berlin,
Sebastian

Good to know Sebastian. The only other startup we have covered not backed by VC (that I can think of) is Campusbug, and their office was definitely in the same boat as far as only having the essentials.

As far as I know the pagekick office is located in Potsdam (near Berlin) and not in Berlin?
Nice pics anyway
