Yahoo! Argentina Office

February 27th, 2008 by Jose

Yahoo LogoYahoo! Yahoo! Yahoo! Since everybody is talking about Yahoo!, we figured we should be too. So today, we’re happy to present pictures from Yahoo! down under. I’m talkin’ about Yahoo! Argentina (Australia isn’t the only country South of the equator, you know).

There isn’t anything too special going on here. They certainly have a nice view, though. And Yahoo! Argentina seems to have found a pretty effective way of cutting costs. Pictures 5 and 6 prove that we shouldn’t count Yahoo! out just yet; their innovation and creative spirit is more alive than ever before.

I supose that some pictures of that are from Argentina, but not all of this pictures.

the nine one isn´t Buenos Aires, the third one is the desktop of Alana Fisher from Australia.

Buenos Aires is a very beautiful city, but is not like this!

    best regards,

    Sebastian

[...] offices of Yahoo!’s Argentina branch are pretty laid back and overly coloured in purple.  Most tech offices today I’ve noticed [...]

Most of those pictures are actually from Yahoo Australia. This is evident by the Australia and NZ and the Yahoo!7 (an Australian TV network joined with Yahoo!) things in the pictures.

The only picture that belongs to Yahoo! Argentina is the first one. Instead of publishing fake pics from our office, you could do some research and check up your sources. And the comment about cutting costs…you should come to Argentina, we are not gauchos riding on horses living in the Pampas, and we are not poor either. This a globalized world, and we live pretty well. You should pay a visit to Argentina sometime (of course, do not come to Y! office, because you will not be welcome!)
