LinkedIn’s Office Expansion

March 17th, 2008 by Stephen

We were lucky enough to post some pictures of LinkedIn’s offices last year, but we are glad to announce that they expanded their space earlier this year. The expansion is located on the first floor of the building they are currently at in Mountain View, which is really convenient. If you haven’t checked out LinkedIn before and you want a place to connect with people professionally, you really need to check it out.

boo-box Headquarters

March 14th, 2008 by Stephen

boo-logo.jpgBoo-box is a contextual marketing company from Brazil. Basically, boo-box takes the best parts of contextual advertising and applies them to clean-looking shopping widgets/links you place on your content (text, pictures, video). They work with Amazon, eBay, Shopping.com, and a host of Brazilian sites.

The featured shows what I have come to love about this site. Progress. While, I don’t think I do a good job of keeping it chronological order, there is a definite shift in the look at feel of the office for the better. Hopefully we will continue to see this!

Etsy HQ

March 13th, 2008 by Stephen

logo.gifDo you love anything homemade, and hate everything the idea of mass-production? Does the name Henry Ford give you nightmares? Well if so, Etsy is the place for you. Etsy is an online marketplace for buying and selling all things handmade.

Not only does the site allow its users to connect with the things they love, the company seems to have homemade on its mind. The office if not your typical clean-cut office, whereas it takes the shape of a creative studio instead and allows employees to spread out and get creative. Something that seems to be at the very core of Etsy.

Moo Offices

March 12th, 2008 by Jose

moo logoYou had me at Moo. Well, Moo had me at Moo. How could you not like a company called Moo? Moo is a printing company that makes all sorts of neat things, like minicards, stickerbooks, and postcards. You can print stuff from your own pictures, or use their designs. They happen to have some neat designs.

Their good taste extends beyond their card designs; their London office is quite nice, too. Do note the really cool pictures that are hanging from the middle of their rooms. So colorful! Makes most offices look like a drab soul-stealing prison.

The Next Web Office

March 11th, 2008 by Stephen

nextweblogo.jpgThe Next Web is a blog that follows everything of interest related to the web. They actually began as a conference, called ‘The Next Web Conference‘, but have since expanded to presenting what is going on in internetland more than just a few days a year.

While bloggers don’t typically have an office, these guys do. It seems like they share office space with web-services Wakoopa and Fleck, which in turn were both begun by people associated with The Next Web. They play hallway soccer and hallway bashing, which are both needed to battle RSI. Oh, it’s also located in Amsterdam.
