NetIQ - Houston Office

NetIQ, an Attachmate company, is one of the most established companies we have featured here before. Their services include the management of VoIP systems, IT security, and IT systems. Whether your systems are inefficient, insecure, or just too difficult to handle, NetIQ has something for you.

This office is located in Houston, TX and has a wonderful view of the surrounding area. Even the view of the freeway has something to offer. While it doesn’t contain anything ultra-extravagant like any of the Silicon Valley giants, the office itself has a nice feel to it. Regardless of all that, my eyes most captivated by the amount of toys present in the office.

van der Architects Office

Good morning, fair readers. Today we are taking you across the pond (the big one) to Japan. van der Architects is located in Denenchofu, an upscale residential part of Tokyo that is home to actors, politicians, and yes, at least one corporate interior design firm.

The individual offices inside the building have been made to look like little wooden houses against a nice sunny sky, which is just genius. Plenty of people can say they get their own office at work, but who can boast that they get their very own house? These guys can. And do.

Juice Media - San Diego Office

Juice Media is the creator of Juice MetrIQ’s, a system that allows its clients to market intelligently. Their goal is to improve marketing campaign performance, revenue, ROI, and sales for their clients.

As far as their office is concerned, it gets points for being in San Diego, and also for having a great view. They seem to keep a pretty clean space, and have plenty of room to grow into, which is a definite plus for a relatively young company (founded in 2006). I am also pretty surprised that this is the first instance of in-office golf we have seen.

Lithium Offices

Normally, you’d be right if you thought that lithium was the third element on the periodic table. Not this time, though. A part of the SaaS (software as a service) movement, Lithium creates online communities for companies on-demand. If your business would benefit from having an online community, but you don’t have the resources/time/know-how to build one from scratch, Lithium helps you to develop and manage one.

And what about their offices? Well they’re in Emeryville, CA, near Pixar’s offices, so that should tell you something. Bright colors, red brick walls, fun light fixtures…and just look at those high ceilings. Plus, they get roast beef sandwiches! They’re not Arby’s roast beef sandwiches, but that’s okay, we like Lithium anyway.

Electronic Arts - China Offices

Electronic Arts, or EA, as it is affectionately known in my heart “is in the game”. Granted, these offices are not the best ones we’ve ever seen on the site, but if you enjoy being apart of the video game creation process, this place is probably just right for you. While these views give a good idea of what life is like for the desk-jockey, it would be really interesting to see where artists and the higher-ups work.
