I was delighted to discover this website and to see that there is a company that practices what every company should preach. I remember a time when without our knowledge, offices were restructured with dire results. The next day, one employee movedin, pinned up some charts, and got down to work. Another asked for permission to go home and get some things -- she returend with drapes (treated to be fire proof), books, cushions, and, and, and. The man came to my office and asked if I planned to let her put all of that junk around. He shook his head in disbelief when I said "yes." Later in the day she head toward his office with an armload of "stuff." I asked her where she was heading out,and she noted that she was going to "fix" his office up since no one could workin such a sterile room. I noted that she couldn't decorate his office, and they both continued to work efficiently in their very diverse environments. So, it was great to see that there is a company that not only permits individuality but also encourages it. Thank you for sharing this information.

I love working amongst so many displays of individualism. The office is exactly what you make it and it gives those of us who have not done so on previous jobs a chance to get to know ourselves through the atmosphere we create in order to work. Some folks go the distance with decorating while others are more spartan. Either way, its you/yours.
