van der Architects Office

April 29th, 2008 by Jose

vander logoGood morning, fair readers. Today we are taking you across the pond (the big one) to Japan. van der Architects is located in Denenchofu, an upscale residential part of Tokyo that is home to actors, politicians, and yes, at least one corporate interior design firm.

The individual offices inside the building have been made to look like little wooden houses against a nice sunny sky, which is just genius. Plenty of people can say they get their own office at work, but who can boast that they get their very own house? These guys can. And do.

    Very nice!
Why in West-world (Europe, US, etc.) all offices represent a tech. view and so “not comfort @home like” :( — look at this - at Japanise offices — more home-like, for comfort work :-/
