TSOT Inc. Offices

When I think of Canada, I think of hockey, maple leaves, and cold fronts. But that’s because I’m ignorant. I should think of universal health care, great indie music, and of course, TSOT Inc., a software development company located in Toronto. They specialize in peer-production networks for businesses and organizations. And if you’re wondering, the name stands for The System of Things.

TSOT’s office is nothing too extraordinary—low cubicles, good lighting and nice couches. The view, though, is quite impressive. The enormous T.V. and Wii set-up is okay, I guess. If you’re into that.

The Digg.com Tour - Office Snapshots

Getting recent pictures of Digg has been something of a phantom for us at Office Snapshots. We had previously posted some shots of the office under construction, but nothing of the finished product. I had been attempting to tour the company for quite some time with no luck, but everything fell into place last month as I was able to spend some time at Digg headquarters snapping some shots for all of you.

The office itself is located in San Francisco and is really designed quite nicely. They just recently expanded from the third floor to some additional space on the second floor, which at this time does not see much use. As with my other recent office visits, everyone was super friendly. It is always a little awkward at first, especially when most people have no idea who I am, or why I am taking pictures around their office. Well, enough banter, lets get onto the pictures.

Ramp Creative Office

Whether you hate Los Angeles or you love it, one thing we can all agree on is that it is the city in which Ramp Creative is located. Ramp Creative is a graphic design agency that specializes in making things look nice and function well–things like annual reports, packaging, websites, and brands.

Their office is very modern, hip, and warehousey–just like an LA design firm should be. I especially like the checkerboard tile entryway. Also, if anyone can figure out what the girl in the fifth picture is holding, I will give them a big virtual Pat on the Back.

Office Snapshots Tours Six Apart HQ

It’s been a while since we’ve posted any pictures of a Six Apart office, but luckily for you, there are a lot of them this time. Last month, I had the opportunity to take a tour of Six Apart’s headquarters in San Francisco. They were nice enough to accommodate my visit on a super short notice. (Thanks a million to Jane!) Everyone was really nice which makes taking pictures not awkward. Also, one thing that is markedly different about Six Apart compared with other tech companies are the amount of females working there (meaning that there are more).

This space is on the 2nd floor of their building and also has a really great floorplan. One thing that I absolutely love was the brick walls. Down here in Southern California, it seems like everything is stucco and drywall, so the brick is a great change of pace.

Navigation Arts Office

For those that spend a lot of time on the internet, you know that navigating through some websites (not OfficeSnapshots of course) can be a pain. Well, luckily for you, there are companies like Navigation Arts, which make navigation a cool breeze in the sails of your web browser.

The company is headquartered in McClean, Virginia and looks like it has some room to grow. Interestingly enough, their office and website both have distinctive orange regions…which I assume means that if you spend enough time in one of them, you know how to navigate the other instinctively.
