Last.fm Office

True, we looked at Last.fm’s office in London some months ago. This time, though, we have plenty more (and better) pics of the music social networking giant’s offices. There is so much to look at, in fact, that I don’t even know where to begin. Waffles? Wii? Dog wearing headphones?

OK, let’s start with their drinking problem. They’re having waffles, so I assume it’s morning. So sangria for breakfast? Awesome. We can also see that some of the employees have FIVE monitors. That’s probably a pretty significant source of greenhouse gases right there. Finally, they appear to be having a delightful garden party in the ball pit. Those crazy Londoners.

ePrize Offices

ePrize is a marketing company that specializes in interactive promotions meant to drive buzz, increase sales, and educate consumers about customer products. Launched in 1999, the company has seen huge growth and has offices in Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Chicago, and London.

Our images today come from the Detroit office (their headquarters). One of my favorite things about this space is the space employees have to get creative around the office. Big conference rooms, large patio space, and an open office layout seem to be big factors contributing to the quality of work coming from ePrize. Hopefully we will get to see more images in the future.

Ning Office

If you’re the loyal/perceptive type, you might recall that we covered Ning once before. Well, they have since moved out of their old and busted offices (in Palo Alto) and into some new hotness (also in Palo Alto). Ning, in case you missed it the first time, is a platform that allows anyone to easily and quickly create their very own social network about any topic they wish.

OK, so maybe this office isn’t that much better than their old one (which wasn’t so shabby to begin with), but it does have a lot more glass. Plus, did the old office have redrum scrawled on a window in blood? I didn’t think so.

Fun fact: The Whole Foods vaguely visible in the reflection in the last picture is my own neighborhood grocery store!

Two West Office

We haven’t been to the Midwest in a while, so today, we’re checking out Two West, an advertising/design/strategy firm located in Kansas City, Missouri. One might think their location might be some sort of impediment, but they seem to be doing pretty well for themselves, seeing as some of their past clients include HBO, Honda, Target, Mattel, and Dreamworks.

Their office is so neat and modern, the pictures look like they came straight out of a liberal arts college information pamphlet. The neatest part by far if the desk in the fifth photo: it’s full of all sorts of doo-dads, knick-knacks, and sundries, including Mr. Bill and that lamp from A Christmas Story. I really want that lamp.

S² Media Office

S² Media is the holding company of the German advertising site layer-ads.de, which seem to specialize in serving advertising though DHTML layers. While this type of advertising might be a bit too intrusive for some people, many find it to be a promising method of advertising in the future.

As far as office space is concerned, this space is really modern looking. The company is based out of Aachen, Germany, and looks to be growing a bit, based on the progression of the number of monitors per workstation.
