Revision3 Studios - On and Around the Sets

May 12th, 2008 by Stephen

It was only a few months ago that we posted the Revision3 offices, and I remember saying to myself, “self, I wish we had access to some pictures of the actual studio space”. Well, lucky us, because we now do. Check them out below.

Current.TV - Video Tour

May 9th, 2008 by Stephen

current.gifCurrent.tv is the self-described world’s leading peer-to-peer and information network. They deliver this information through their TV channel and on their website, and even have an Emmy for doing it. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never won an Emmy for telling people stuff. Needless to say, many people are thankful that such a network exists, especially me, because that means I can show you their office space.

Here is a quick (95 seconds) tour done by Amit Gupta.

The Image Group Office

May 9th, 2008 by Jose

image group logoHere at Office Snapshots, we like covering design and ad agencies because they almost always have nice offices. And they should, for two main reasons: one, an office is like a portfolio for potential clients, showing what you’re capable of and that you have good taste; and two, no one wants their designers working in a drab, soul-sucking environment. The Image Group is nice example of an ad agency that gives visitors (and now you, dear reader) a taste of what they can do through their office design.

The Image Group’s office is located in Holland, Michigan (no clogs and windmills there). They do a good amount of work for schools and non-profits, as well as health care groups. As their office suggests, they do some nice work.

Improving Content Organization (reader responses requested)

May 8th, 2008 by Stephen

So, we’ve been growing a bunch lately, not only in traffic, but in the amount of content found on the site.  I am not a big fan of a huge list down the side, mostly because the list will continue to grow outrageously long.   Jose and I have been brainstorming our ideas, but so far, no perfect solution has come forth.  So I figured I would just open the discussion up to our readers. Anyone have any ideas?

One idea we had was to divide the companies/content into business types.  So architecture firms would be grouped together, web companies would be grouped together, and so on.

Symantec Offices - Culver City

May 8th, 2008 by Stephen

symantec_logo.gifSymantec is one of your computer’s bestest friends. Instead of being the idiot friend that tries to get him in trouble, Symantec works hard to keep your computer safe from viruses, phishing, and most other bad stuff. Not only that, but they’ve got other solutions for you and your business like online backup and Windows server service.

Their offices are pretty straightforward and standard as far as these pictures show. The feature that really stands out to me however is the video conference room. This space is pretty new for Symantec, but it looks like they aren’t having any trouble filling it up.
