Yahoo! – Hong Kong Office

March 18th, 2009 by Jose

yahoo logoI hope you’re not sick of seeing Yahoo! offices. Because here are some more. This time, we’re crossing the big pond (not that dinky Atlantic Ocean), and checking out the inner workings of Yahoo! in Hong Kong. Unlike those other Yahoo! offices, this one is weird.

It’s true, there are some things to be impressed by, like the great view and the very modern reception area, but there are also many mysteries. Why are there so many cardboard boxes? Why is there a fish in an overturned gift bag? Why on earth are there SO MANY TOYS?!? Questions for the ages, my friends. Questions for the ages.

    WOW,
    Look at all that crap!
You think cubes like that belong to the fat guys in the basement of the computer science buildings.

Looks like an office move with all those cardboard boxes. The pictures with monitors with destination papers saying “Office Move” taped to them seems to confirm this. Looks like they’re shifting people around in that office — wonder how long they have been there.

Hi there. First of all, thanks for the webstie. Such a good website.
Indeed the Yahoo office in Hong Kong is weird and messy. but let me tell you that, it is because of the space limitation in Hong Kong, offices, houses, apartments are small, packed and crowded. Storage is never enough for us. :( sigh~~~ you know how much our people envy the spacious land that you people have. :)
