Facebook’s London Office – Video Tour

We’ve had a good amount of Facebook content lately, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t keep adding to it. Luckily for us, Kara Swisher of All Things Digital was able to take a tour of the company’s London space.
This Facebook office is quite a bit different than the new Palo Alto office, but is very nice nonetheless. It has approximately 50 employees and is basically dedicated to sales and regional support, thogh it does have some programming capability. As far as the design goes, there seems to be several elements similar to Palo Alto like the frosted glass, the color schemes, and the names conference rooms. Palo Alto definitely wins on name creativity though. The office is located on Carnaby Street in London.

FB’s London staff looks like they’re struggling to bear Karen’s humor, which really is not amusing… she comes off a bit pushy and obnoxious… my old and pushy aunt in Florida isn’t half as obnoxiously imposing in her approach… is this what you call journalism?

Haha, Faba, you are so right. Thsi girl (from America?) got a quite intrusive approach to people and comes along quite bossy. Maybe I will go over there to the facebook office as these guys keep blocking my wedding picutres withouth giving a reason (they claim that somebody claimed my website with my wedding pics is abusive to other facebook users…)

To whom it may concern.
I have decided to deactivate my account as it seems obvious now you are unable to control the sick child porn being posted, the copying of peoples profiles and the disgusting groups set up advocating child porn and rape. Even when people report or email you you fail to do anything. So I shall be going to the press/ radio and the police regarding all these concerns. I thought you would have thought your website has taken enough bad press recently and would not like anymore. This is obviously not true as you refuse to do anything about these people. I shall be informing everyone I know about the sick content of your website also. Yours is not the only Social networking site on the internet.
