Simplefly Creative is a multi-disciplinary, full service branding agency that specializes in graphic design, web development and strategic brand building. After beginning the business in Brooklyn, they decided to move to the greater Miami area once they heard the life-changing anthem, “Miami”, by Will Smith. My details on how they arrived there might be mixed up, but they actually are now based out of Coconut Grove, Florida.

When designing the space, company founder Marcel Lecours was interested in creating a clean but eclectic design. Employees wished to use sustainable materials when possible, which led them toward bamboo instead of traditional wood.

The shelving and main conference table are using using Plyboo (bamboo plywood) and were crafted by Marcel and a friend. The table was finished by adding a 3/4″ piece of glass for protection.

The remainder of the interior is nicely designed for the company’s five employees. Accent walls deliver some character, while several pieces of art adorn the walls. The glass block front windows are fun, and keep the Miami flavor that is very evident in the buildings architecture.
