The Warm and Connected Offices of Deepend

Firm
  • Client Deepend,
  • Location Surry Hills, Australia,
  • Industry Design,
  • When Deepend was planning the move into their new space – a two-floor blank canvas – they knew they wanted to maximize collaboration and productivity. Deepend worked with Australian design firm The World is Round to complete the fit-out.

TWIR decided to create a central stairway as the main connecting point between floors – the first of which contains the reception cafe and is dedicated to client production. The combination space was meant to create a much less formal entrance for clients that leads directly to a creative and open boardroom – and is decorated with a warmly colored Tetris-like wall feature.

The entire office is brightly lit with its wonderful array of large windows and uses a combination of open and closed office spaces. You’ll also notice both casual and formal work areas – spaced to provide privacy – but also to be immediately useful.

All in all, the space provides the many classic office design elements, but does it with a fresh and open style that surely aids Deepend in their creative pursuits.
