4E’s New Mexico City Offices

  • Client 4E,
  • Location Mexico City, Mexico,
  • Industry Manufacturing,
  • Body care product company 4E recently moved into a new Mexico City headquarters with the help of OXÍGENO ARQUITECTURA.

“OXÍGENO ARQUITECTURA designed the client’s headquarters to reflect both the the firm’s philosophy and its main products. The project actively builds a novel link between working space, modern design and the idea of flow. The interiors recreate an atmosphere directly connected with the symbols of 4E – water and purity.

The 500 m² area contains elements such as open and private offices, a product presentation showroom, meeting rooms & ancillary spaces. All these spaces are divided not only with walls but also, virtually, by the use of varied textures and materials. The floor surface is textured with miscellaneous finishes to underline the varied characters of every particular area. Public space flooring is covered with wood, meeting spaces with polished granite and office areas are carpeted.

The black granite reception desk resembles a floating ship within a flowing liquid body. Its angular shapes contrast noticeably with the soft curves generated by open office areas.

The clear nature of glass walls are meant to signify cleanliness and purity, while “harder” natural materials provide a solid foundation.

OXÍGENO ARQUITECTURA collaborated with graphic designer, Anne – Charlotte De Lavergne to reinforce the architectural project with flowing soft shapes symbolizing notions such as floating and a liquid quality.”
