Have you ever wished text messaging were more robust, and that had additional features besides just ’send text message’? Well, 3jam is your genie because it just granted your wish. 3jam allows you to send/receive texts at your computer, then when you are idle at your computer, they automagically go to your phone. You can also reply-to-all on your texts as well, which is very useful for those times when you don’t want to answer the same question numerous times.

3jam is located in the same building in San Francisco as Seesmic, and has been at this location since it opened as an office building. The space is very modest and the employees were very hospitable. (Thanks Brad for setting the visit up!) Looking back on the visit I was able to create a list of things 3jam employees love; whiteboards, Adagio Tea, over-flowing sandwiches, and savoury food pastes.
