Sidney Quintela is an architecture firm located in Salvador, Brazil that designs custom homes, apartment buildings, stores, restaurants, and offices. They designed their own space, and it looks great. The exterior finish is a very original rusty wall that stands out very nicely.
The interior is well suited for architecture and has a fabulous view of the bay, which is perfect for inspiration on projects. One wall is dedicated to a world map, another room has other worldly items giving a fresh vibe. The workstations are pretty basic, though each has a raised platform for monitors which is helpful for keeping work at eye level. Their back patio must be a hotspot, as it is definitely the most comfortable place in the office, perfect for a break.

Located on the northwest coast of Spain lies the city of A Coruña. Within this city lies ones of the most interesting examples of interior architecture we’ve ever seen here at Office Snapshots. Novan & Vesson is both the architect and client for today’s post, and have they ever given us something to talk about.
Beginning with the exterior of the building we get very enticing and aesthetically pleasing thoughts in our head, which is surely important branding for any architecture firm. As we continue inside, our senses continue to be stimulated as there are lots of new and different features to view. The furnishings are all very non-traditional including the jagged desk and wooden-slatted stool chairs. This is all intermixed with exposed brickwork, lovely white walls and accents, doors where no doors are needed, and freestanding mid-room sinks.
Alright, my senses are awake. What do you all think of this space?

Earlier this week, Jose showed us the sleek and clean offices of Gensler Baltimore, and we were actually able to acquire a few more images of the space. The new ones are larger and give broader, sweeping views of the space as compared to our first post. If you weren’t impressed, theres nothing new here, but if you liked the space, these might give you a better picture of the space as a whole.
The Baltimore office is currently in the process of achieving LEED CI Gold rating as well.

We’ve looked at architecture firm Gensler a couple times before, and we’re doing it again because all their offices are just so pretty. Remember their Chicago Office? That was a good one. And who could forget their lovely San Francisco Office? Well today we’re checking out their office in Baltimore, Maryland, and it’s pretty great, too.
It’s a new office, which explains why it’s so darn shiny and clean. They a really awesome feature that we don’t see very often in other offices (probably because they are illiterate) and that is a library chock full of books. Instead of playing video games, these guys read! That is crazy. If I hired an architecture firm to build something for me, I’d pick the ones that read for fun, not the ones that spend their working hours playing Halo. For shame.

The offices of Selgas Cano are by far the most innovate and creative thing I’ve seen in a while. Many times, modern/futurey offices don’t actually seem like places I’d want to work, but this one really has my attention. Perhaps it’s the nature that is right outside, juxtaposed with the sleek interior space that has me picturing myself as their newest employee.
Selgas Cano is a Spanish architecture firm based in Madrid. With the floors below the ground, looking out the window and daydreaming on company time must have an altogether new feeling. The window that opens at the end seems like a good idea, unless of course, you are the employee on the end and it is windy outside.
