Netvibes - Paris HQ

November 9th, 2007 by Stephen

Netvibes LogoNetvibes‘ headquarters in Paris is a bit different than what we have featured before. For one, it is it’s own space, not one combined with several other companies. Second, it is not huddled in a small space of cubicles. The open nature of the office looks a bit more inviting, while obviously offering more room that their San Fran space.

That being said, the Paris office has the most important thing any business can have; a tall pile of boxes. Many companies rise but ultimately fall because they lack the essentials, Netvibes however, has them.

My Tour of Netvibes SF

October 31st, 2007 by Stephen

Netvibes LogoAs many of you may know, Netvibes allows their users to customize their homepage experience. They also have custom pages built for specific websites which allow users to browse through pages built for them by their favorite sites. The service basically allows you to organize all of the information you have ever wanted to know about on an easy to use interface.

We have actually featured Netvibes before, but last time I visited San Francisco, they were nice enough to let me come in and poke around the office for a little while. (Special thanks to Elvine for that!) The space is shared with a couple other companies, Timebridge (featured here) and Tagged (maybe coming soon).

Netvibes - San Francisco

August 3rd, 2007 by Stephen

Netvibes LogoNetvibes was the first site to have the personalized homepage, which meant that you no longer had to hope your homepage had things you were interested in. Now the homepage was up to YOU! They recently released a new service called Netvibes Universes, which allows websites to have customized pages built for their readers. For a visual, think of the internet emptying into a boiling witches cauldron, with the result being everything you wanted.

The company has three offices; one in San Francisco, and the others in London and Paris. The SF office shares some space with a couple other companies, but still looks to have a pretty substantial space. I am also glad to see a ping-pong table there as it is the first I have shown on Snapshots.
