Remember when Skype was the Next Big Thing? Well, it was pretty big, but it wasn’t enormous. It might be this time, though, because soon you’ll be able to use Skype on smartphones. It’s like having a phone on your phone! But this one is a free phone. Anyways, here are their London offices.
Skype’s office is a pleasant, wide-open space. They have an awesome old timey library-style lounge and some really comfy looking lunch booths. They have spectacular views of London, and when, not breaking child labor laws, the employees enjoy riding fake plastic horse things (???).

This Facebook office is quite a bit different than the new Palo Alto office, but is very nice nonetheless. It has approximately 50 employees and is basically dedicated to sales and regional support, thogh it does have some programming capability. As far as the design goes, there seems to be several elements similar to Palo Alto like the frosted glass, the color schemes, and the names conference rooms. Palo Alto definitely wins on name creativity though. The office is located on Carnaby Street in London.
Strawberrysoup is a web design, branding, creativity, and seo specialist located england with three offices around the country. Today’s images are from their Chichester offices, which is known as ‘The Signal Box’. Simply hearing the company name gave me a great fresh feeling about them and their offices without seeing the space. Definitely better than something like ‘Hearty Chowder’.
This office space is located in a building that has some of the best character we’ve seen yet. The building used to be an integral part of the railway system (unless it wasn’t actually a signal box), but has now been put to much greater use. There is so much light during the day that employee morale must be very high. The desks are refurbished Herman Miller and give some nice privacy, but also allow for creative collaboration. Large screen real estate, a nice relaxation couch, and a beautiful conference room all add a lot of appeal.
Youmeo has been featured here on Office Snapshots once before, but Steve put that one up, so you know it wasn’t that great. Joking! It was great. And so are these new pictures of Youmeo’s very attractive office in London, England.
Youmeo is a utility for those us that want to social network in every possible manner but don’t have the time or patience to do it the hard way. Instead of going to half a dozen websites just to tell your Internet friends that you are going to In n Out, you can update Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, and more at the same time. Plus, Youmeo brings all of the updates to you in one place as well. Interested? Too bad, it’s still in closed beta. Feel free to sign up for an invite, though.

We took a look at Lloyd’s of London’s office in Shanghai a few days ago, so I thought to myself, “Why don’t we show Lloyd’s in London?” Genius, right? I know. And so, here we are.
Lloyd’s beautiful building was designed by the famed British architect Sir Richard Rogers. Not unlike the Centre Pompidou in Paris (which he also designed), all the ducts are located on the outside, allowing for maximum usable space within the building, and a particularly striking atrium in the center. Plus it’s super shiny, so that makes it extra awesome.
