Jacob Tyler is a graphic design company based out of San Diego, California that has a host of services they provide from Advertising and Photography, to Branding, Web Design, and Logo Creation.
While the overall plan of the office does not have either an extremely large or extremely small footprint, the company sure has done a lot with what they have. “Just Right” as Goldilocks would say. The interior design is very appealing with our favorite, wood floors, nicely complemented with the red of wall and the Jacob Tyler signage (which is there in case they forget who they work for). Another bonus is the large amount of screen real-estate each employee can take advantage of making their workday much smoother flowing. They also have a kitchen which adds a lot of value.

So a few months ago I had the opportunity to go to BarcampSD which was located at Microsoft’s San Diego office. Oddly enough, I forgot that I had them on my computer, hence the really long time between taking the pictures and posting them.
The office itself is located just across the street from Eventful and down the street from Divx, both of which we have featured before. Compared with many other offices we have shown, Microsoft is all business. Granted, this particular office is a sales office, so the look is going to be much different than say, the Google office with a slide and ballpit.

Red Door Interactive is described as an internet presence management firm. So instead of simply creating a website in internetland, they make sure people visit the site, and once they arrive, make sure their visit to the website is as useful as possible.
Their office is located in downtown San Diego, California and has a prime view of Petco Park (The stadium the Padres play in). While their aren’t many day games during the week, it is quite a view, and probably the neatest one we’ve covered here. The office space itself is very open, which surely helps employees collaborate when need be. Also, I thought the fixture above the conference room table was pretty great.

For those unfamiliar with DivX, the company allows consumers to enjoy high-quality video on either a television, a computer, and even on a mobile device. While one of my favorite DivX products, Stage6, was recently closed down, they have some other products coming to the market including an awesome wireless HD media player. (I was lucky enough to see it in action at Barcamp SD, and it looked amazing).
I was able to check out the DivX offices in San Diego with the help of Ben Cote (Thanks Ben!) a few weeks back. Interestingly enough, this DivX office is located in the same space that MP3.com once occupied.
As far as the office is concerned, they have a very large space. It occupies both floors of the building and is just about filled up. The space is divided up by department, but not in the typical fashion we tend to see here on Office Snapshots. In one area, many employees have an array of monitors and a large tv screen at their workstation for testing purposes.

Juice Media is the creator of Juice MetrIQ’s, a system that allows its clients to market intelligently. Their goal is to improve marketing campaign performance, revenue, ROI, and sales for their clients.
As far as their office is concerned, it gets points for being in San Diego, and also for having a great view. They seem to keep a pretty clean space, and have plenty of room to grow into, which is a definite plus for a relatively young company (founded in 2006). I am also pretty surprised that this is the first instance of in-office golf we have seen.
