Remember when Skype was the Next Big Thing? Well, it was pretty big, but it wasn’t enormous. It might be this time, though, because soon you’ll be able to use Skype on smartphones. It’s like having a phone on your phone! But this one is a free phone. Anyways, here are their London offices.
Skype’s office is a pleasant, wide-open space. They have an awesome old timey library-style lounge and some really comfy looking lunch booths. They have spectacular views of London, and when, not breaking child labor laws, the employees enjoy riding fake plastic horse things (???).

Being creative is best known as humanity’s 9th sense, and as it turns out, many people just don’t have the capacity for a 9th sense. If that’s you, than you’re in luck. Razor Creative is loaded with 9th sense power. They do print work, packaging, web development, and branding.
Razor Creative is located in Moncton, New Brunswick, in a quaint downtown office. The space is nicely colored, with plenty of decorations adorning the walls, as well as quite a few Razor branded items like the clock and door. While there is a lot of space in the office, there aren’t many workstations, but it definitely isn’t sparse. There are many eye-catching visuals, including, but not limited to, the ‘dig deeper’ guy. If I know my desk gadgets as well, I see a Chumby. This place really has the most homely feel of any office we’ve seen that isn’t actually a home office.

Sidney Quintela is an architecture firm located in Salvador, Brazil that designs custom homes, apartment buildings, stores, restaurants, and offices. They designed their own space, and it looks great. The exterior finish is a very original rusty wall that stands out very nicely.
The interior is well suited for architecture and has a fabulous view of the bay, which is perfect for inspiration on projects. One wall is dedicated to a world map, another room has other worldly items giving a fresh vibe. The workstations are pretty basic, though each has a raised platform for monitors which is helpful for keeping work at eye level. Their back patio must be a hotspot, as it is definitely the most comfortable place in the office, perfect for a break.

Today’s post is our first display of office images in the country of Romania, a country that I enjoyed visiting several years ago. The only downside was having my camera stolen by a gang of street children (True story!). However, I have a short memory, a new camera, and a love for great offices. So, I’ll let that go and just enjoy presenting today’s space.
Headvertising is an advertising firm located in Bucharest, and has a very unique office setup. The space was designed by Romanian architect, Corvin Christian, and is just filled with a combination of wood tones and the coolness of cement. If you had too much of either it might be super overwhelming, but this space looks pretty comfortable. The lighting looks a bit dim for my tastes, but it could just me a gloomy day with only a few lights on. The best feature is the glass-pane conference cube and moveable storage.
Those couches look like the most comfortable thing I’ve ever seen, anyone know what brand they are?

We’re doing something new today. We’re looking at a company’s move from one office to another, so you get to see two different offices. That’s twice as many as normal. Get excited! Anyways, Mozilla Messaging, purveyors of the very popular and useful Thunderbird email client, is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Just like the Olympics I am currently watching!
Mozilla Messaging’s first office was in a beautiful old-fashioned building with great views of downtown Vancouver. I personally like it a little better than their new office, an artsier, more open space in a warehouse-style office building. Also, they seem to share an office with awesome sounding “Boomchains.” I don’t know what that is, so you should leave your best guess in the comments.
