With a name like Epic Systems Corporation, it’s no wonder this company has one of the most beautiful campuses we’ve ever seen. Their headquarters are located in Verona, Wisconsin, and is just about as grandiose as an office complex can come.
The company specializes in software for medium to large sized medical groups, and has given some medical groups a major advantage in patient care because of their product. With computerized patient records becoming the most popular thing since sliced bread, this company has nowhere to go up up.
The campus is absolutely beautiful and stunningly green, with a calming stream running through the middle of the property. Sometimes large campuses can take on a large, ominous, office park look that is just plain and blah, but this place really has nice detail and character that make the outside pleasing to take in with at least 7 or 8 senses. Just look at how happy those horses are to look at it in the distance.
A couple things of note. All employees have private offices, the huge employee auditorium, the Indiana Jones hallway, bears and Knights. Need I say more?

It’s been a couple years since we last visited Mozilla, so we thought we’d check in again. Good thing we did, cos they’ve got a new place in downtown Mountain View. Not that their old place was bad, but this one is nicer and quite a bit more spacious. And with Firefox’s huge growth over the past few years, I’m sure they need it.
There are a couple things I really love about this office. First of all, they have a Speakers Room, where, yes, speakers can come in to, yes, speak to the company. Seems like a really cool way to keep everyone in the office engaged and constantly learning. Anyways, secondly, they have an enormous assortment of snacks, including, but not limited to, Pirate’s Booty, Pop Chips, and Kettle Chips.
Sorry about all those commas.

Lab13 is an Italian company that designs and develops software solutions using the most advanced technology available, with a strong focus on web and mobile platforms. The company has experts in different areas of programming as well as design professionals that specialize in graphics, user experience, or visuals. This allows them to provide solutions that are start-to-finish Lab13 creations.
The company has three different office locations, but their HQ is located in Lodi, Italy. You have probably already noticed that the office is filled with bright colors and wood floors, both of which are pleasing to the eye. You’ll also notice different combinations of Microsoft and Apple paraphernalia intermixed around the office. Either these guys have unhealthy obsessions with rich nerds, or they like to pay tribute to the past. My favorite elements are the 3-sided work station, the doorway to innovation, and the 3-d foosball cutouts that look like they are about to do spinnies on you.

If you’re looking for a gift card or loyalty program network this fine day, you are in luck. SparkBase is one of the best ones around. They aren’t really too well known to the public at large, but there’s a good chance you’ve used their immensely useful website GetYourBalance.com, where, as the name implies, you can check your gift card balance. There’s really nothing worse than having a ton of gift cards in your wallet and not having the slightest idea whether you can even get yourself a bag of Funyuns. I love Funyuns.
SparkBase’s office is located in Cleveland, Ohio. I just love the red brick walls and how they contrast with the bright green accents. The computer stuff on the wall in the second picture is also a great idea. And of course, having a PS3 in the office is always a big plus. If only they had Funyuns.

Creative State is a creative company that doesn’t just think outside of the box, they think before the box was even thought up. If John Locke were both a designer and alive, he’d obviously work at Creative State. They create anything and everything that your company might need from flash, company branding, web development, software development, and even photography and SEO.
